Pastor Brian Akker Pastor Brian joined Christ’s Family Church as Senior Pastor in March of 2002 after serving seven years at a church in Northwest Iowa. Pastor Brian received a M.DIV. degree from Western Theological Seminary, Holland, MI. He graduated in 1979 from Hope College in Holland Michigan and spent nine years teaching. He also worked for four years in the construction field before entering the ministry. He is married to Mary and they have two boys Kyle and Tyler. Sonja Rekers Director of Adult Ministries Office hours: Mon. & Wed. afternoon	Sonja Rekers Director of Adult Ministries Sonja provides leadership for various adult ministries. She also coordinates the music at CFC. She is a guest teacher for the Davenport schools. She is married to Buzz and has two children and three grandchildren.
Torri Vande Zande Director of Youth Ministries Torri came on staff November of 2003. She is a 1994 graduate of North Central University with a B.A. in youth ministry. She has experience working with youth over the past 9 years through youth centers, small group ministry, and events. Her responsibilities at Christ’s Family is to direct the junior high and senior high programming and to train volunteer youth workers to use their gifts to impact the lives of young people. John Pfautz Director of Music John started attending Christ’s Family Church in 1993. He soon became the organist and assistant choir director, with his wife Lorelei, playing the piano. In September of 2005 he took on the duties of Choir Director/Organist. John comes to the position having worked in church music for over 30 years and having lectured at the college level in various topics of church music. His full-time job is at Augustana College where he is the Voice Area Head and Director of Opera @ Augustana.
Terri Fox Administrative Assistant Phone Ext. 10 Office hours: Monday-Friday 8-4	Terri Fox Administrative Assistant Terri joined the staff of Christ's Family in January, 1999. She is responsible for handling all of our finances and secretarial work. Terri is married to Denny and they have three children: Amanda, Justin, and Ashley.
