Pastor Zachary’s journey with Jesus began in college while studying opera, where he soon felt the undeniable call to ministry. Since then, his greatest passion has been making the name of Jesus known and sharing the life-transforming forgiveness found only in Christ.

He holds a Master of Divinity degree and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Theology (ThD) in Systematic Theology and Bonhoeffer Studies. A lifelong learner, he loves reading, studying, and diving deep into theology.

Pastor Zachary is married to Blair, an ICU nurse and devoted follower of Jesus. Together, they are passionate about seeing the Quad Cities transformed by the grace of Christ. One of Zachary’s favorite things about Christ’s Family Church is the strong sense of community—believers who are steadfast in their faith and truly feel like family.

Outside of ministry, Zachary enjoys spending time in coffee shops, writing, studying, and cycling. A connoisseur of craft coffee, he has a particular love for funky light roasts with unique flavors. He’s also a proud Harry Potter fan (Hufflepuff all the way!).

Zachary and Blair have a heart for foster care and have opened their home to six children over the years. They are also proud parents to their son, Banner.
